The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions to your community.
SASSA might be rendering solutions including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a statement, the agency claimed it is actually alarmed concerning the large range of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a substantial number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This really is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no entirely functional office dedicated to service the area each day. The assistance stage established for intervention experiences a high inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, that makes it hard to the office to attend to all people who go to a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more assets to enable the sassa servicing of all customers and increase usage of Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
